Gaunce getting an assist despite only playing 8 mins is definitely good for him. Gaunce and gaudette seem to be pretty restricted by green so far. Im happy for gaunce. I still dont think hes an NHL regular when the team is healthy, but hes making the most of his call up and im happy for him

I know you are dumb like cement but me calling you an idiot is not associating. I call Trump an idiot and I don't associate with him either.

If you got a lifetime ban I couldn't care less , so no I don't associate with you.

Quinn Hughes could have easily made the Canucks this year.

I get it. You are catch up person and not one that thinks out of the box. By the time you are ready to get on board the train all the best seats are gone.

Kids now a days are starting training at the age of 3 and 4 not 7 and 8. It is a business that pays huge money and the game is changing towards youth and speed.

5 of the top 10 this year were NHL ready, try keeping up because maybe in two years it is 8 of 10

- VANTEL

You're the type that stands in front of the train thinking he can stop it.

Hughes could have easily made the Canucks this year instead he choose to go back to college, because he felt he wasn't ready. Petey also chose to go back to Europe for another season to develop. Maybe entering the league right out of the draft isn't the best development for every prospect, whether Vantel thinks they are ready or not.

Get your facts right , he went back to college because Benning wouldn't guarantee a spot for him. He was told he has to earn it. If he signed and didn't make the team he was going to be in Utica which he did not want to do.

I guess you didn't write it down

Oh no, Benning isn't gifting spots to entitled kids. That saddens me so much.

That is not the point . You said he felt he was not ready but it was the exact opposite. Hey but don't let the facts get in the way.

Jake was not noticeable until last year, who is that other guy?
- VANTEL

Exactly. Plus jake’s attitude kind of pissed fans off at first. He’s starting to show some of his skills now that he’s getting more ice time and playing in more meaningful minutes. Just taking him a little longer to mature.

Yeah it is not hard for an 18 year old kid making a mil a year not to slip up. I like what he is doing now.

I don't know if it was luck or great decision making by Benning and the scouting staff but one kid can absolutely turn things in a positive direction for you. That bank pass off the end boards can only be processed quickly like that by a few NHL'ers. The finally found an elite number one center.

I think Boeser was a lucky pick for them. I don’t think they knew what they had when they picked Brock.

They knew exactly what they had when picking Petey. You could see and hear the excitement in JB when they interviewed him after the selection.

Alright, I apologize that an 18 year old kid wasn't gifted an NHL spot and felt hurt, so he chose to go back to college.

Wrong again . He never felt hurt. He was quite excited to go back to Michigan.

Getting back to the original discussion he would have made the 5 th drafted top 10 selection that could have made the NHL. Keep an eye on that trend.

Fine, sigh....

You're pretty savvy, put up this gif of gaunce fighting or if you can't figure it out, I can't, then the other, bloody, one will do.

Or

I'll stop directing an overwhelming amount of Gaunce love/spam your way.

As long as he's killing it though i'm gonna keep pumping his tires though.

I think the lesson learned is to never bet with Prez to avoid all of this.

Just saying, does Pouls deserve to be singled out for a great game when the D gave up 6?

I don't expect much out of you but think about what you're saying.

Benning said that if he's ready and is one of the top 7, then he'd play in the nhl.

Hughes decides not to sign.

If he felt that he had to be gifted a spot rather then earn it, then that means that he wasn't confident that he would be one of the top 7.

Think before pressing the summit button. For one moment. Please, youre bringing the collective IQ down.
