Well said and thanks, I just caught up and was going to post something similar.

Quite the game last night, Pettersson was unbelievable, wow. Boeser looked as good as he did at his best last year.

- Makita

Fastest ive seen Boeser go all season.

Big American kid and going to Michigan next season. Ranked in the back 11 of the 1st round at the moment.

edit: Looking at what to do with the Toronto pick Tanev lands JB right?

I thought we were comparing centers of equal size and style of player. 82 games for two straight seasons for Trocheck 👍
- manvanfan

I thought Lockwood was a winger? Were you comparing whatever prospect you linked in those tweets (I didn’t look)? Sounds like we were talking about two different things

I thought Keean was a center too. Oh wait, he is. I accept your apology.

If they are big and speed isn't a positive, not interested. Look at the top 6 of the best teams and find me one. It's a new game.

A lot have him in the top 10. Doesnt surprise me but his play right now puts him probably between 20-30 in the draft.

Might as well just ignore the CHL scouts from now on

Can't remember the last time a really really good WHL kid came along? Lots from the OHL and QMJHL in the past ten years but WHL sucking.

I'm watching him shift by shift on YT right now. Seems to have great wheels for a big kid. Excellent on the PK creating breakaways for himself... he will go higher if he improves on what I'm seeing.

Vantel looking at 28. Doubt Beecher is available there.

edit: watch his breakaway ot winner at the end and the speed question is not necessary.

Matthews? Barkov? Deceptively fast those two.
Larkin, Eichel. Cherry picking a bit now with elite players.

Beecher might be one of those stand out larger players that dont come around very often. I think hes more of an Alex Formenton though. (Who was just returned to London). Mid 2nd round pick.

28? Is hoping for a trade? Or are we a playoff team officially? Love the look of the kids but with a little under 70 games left... like I said to someone last night: Little early

Looks like were top15 or 20 (bubble team) more likely than not. Much better product and chemistry than I would have thought early. Gotta love Boeser and EP looking like that, I know EP gets the credit but Boeser was back last night baby!

We'll land a solid prospect in that mid-range. Dobson, Wahlstrom and farabee all slipped to around where I expect us picking. Those are all top prospects IMO, happens every year. I do hope we get one of these WHL kids though, there's going to be 5-6 in the first round this year IMO

Ask vantel. I was only answering his question about a big winger at 28. I assumed he was talking acquired pick.

Our CHL scouts are meh......
Virtanen
McCann
Juolevi

Benning should straight up just ignore them
Not saying the CHL is bad, just vancouver's ability to scout the league.

WE need Lefty here to keep telling us how the Canucks will have brutal scoring problems.

And how much better the drafting is in Philly and TO!!

Ya so I said pick out a big boy that isn't fast. Stone I guess would be one. Formentn is blazing fast, so if Beecher is that type I'm in. Lucic is no longer a viable top6 player type, which is why I personally don't think Gadjovic will be a NHL player.

I like soderstrom, Suzuki, Krebs and kaliyev in our current spot

Oops my bad. I actually found out there isnt as many big fast boys as I had thought. Lots that arent fast.

Book on Beecher from a report I read. Blazing speed. Hands are lacking.

Trevor Zegras, a center for USDP.. Trying to find as many highlights as possible on him. He has moved into my top 5

They took too long to develop for him. He's pretty much a millennial with his need for right now attitude. 😆
