Looks like the flyers that we know and love. They just get their freaking doors blown off when they apply a heavy forecheck. It’s not worth it. I appreciate what hak is trying to do but they just can’t skate well enough for I t. Sit back in that 1-2-2 and point shot them to death....hope that a couple find their way through while not giving up much.

Thats how that PP always works, everyone knows what they are going to do.

1) Blast from Ghost
2) Giroux takes pass from Ghost for a shot
3) Giroux passes down low to man to side of net for a stuffing

Problem is they are too slow with puck movement, so what they do can be easily followed

Still looking a little sloppy but we seem to be playing a little looser. Not loose in bad way. We are skating and supporting. Just too many turnovers. Just get the puck in deep. Don't seem to be as timid as we are at home. Crazy. Weise is a different player. Good to see. Provy seems a little more like himself. Coots still sucks.

I still say he had some kind of substance or personal issue. He looks night and day different. Compare him in Montreal to what we saw the first few years here. Good for him.

I just think Voracek throws it off. There is no shot threat from that side. Or one that is a realistic one to go in.

I don’t know with weise. Maybe he’s finally accepting his role as a fourth line plug. There was talk when he first got here that he truly believed he was a scoring line forward and was not happy with a checking role. Don’t know if that played into his lackadaisacal play. I’m not ready to say he’s a different player but he’s sure looking better

One small possible factor with his lackadaisical play could have been the early suspension. He started physical last year but lacked it after that sorta
