This is what I have to deal with in the Flyers thread and you wonder why I visit here sometimes...
Nylander has only really played wing in the nhl on a line with Matthews. I guess you could slot him there but Totonto’s Centers are Matthews, Tavares and Kadri. - SuperSchennBros

Giroux had 40 more points in 20 more games. Matthews was at a 45 goal/85 point pace at age 20. - RogerRoeper
Keeping changing the narrative to fit your goal. Matthews is on pace. Claude Giroux actually did it.
He literally had 40 more points last year.
Eichel is on pace for 6 points today...which..when I do the math..Eichel is on pace for 438 points this season |

Speaking of injuries...do you know why Giroux had 2 down years prior to last year? |

It took Giroux around 10 or more years to crack 100 points, and hit the 30 goal mark. Yet were comparing him to a guy that hasnt even been in the league for 3 seasons yet?
Speaking of which Matthews got 40 goals in his first year, as a teenager. Something Giroux has never done, ever, considering hes 75 years old compared to Matthres. |

i honestly dont know where id rank flyers fans...
I see the city of Philadelphia as how the portray it on "It's always sunny"...
We've all seen the pictures of the guy with the jersey the said "the black guy" and heard the other stories about flyers fans.. Nothing wrong with passionate fans, it makes the sport fun. To me, Philly has always been the most hostile city to visit for the Leafs.
But as a Canadian im prejudice towards american hockey fans. I assume you guys take a WWE attitude toward the game and you boo off-sides and whatnot... That being said the USA is the second best hockey nation on earth so that's pretty cool. |

Zicha is pretty poopty.
Saversan is alright.
Leafs can't score goals. They should be looking at flipping Rily for a goal scorer. Throw in Ondorson if they have to |

But he played through it. That's some good stuff. That's why he has the C
I always thought highly of him since the Giroux-Crosby fights a few years ago. Those two dudes want to win more than anything. Those two are literally the definition of "hockey player"
Giroux vs. Crosby and Iginla vs. Lecavalier…..Gotta love when the captains fight. NOt many would do that |

Philly is no question filled with passionate fans for the sports teams, but the problem is they are easily manipulated by the media and others. If you hear it during a game or on the radio it will guaranteed be regurgitated by fans like its truth.
The same guy I mentioned above says the reason why the Flyers are losing is because....they are not intimidating enough and ended it by saying "I guess no one has ever heard of the Philly Flu". You just have to shake your head and think of food or something. |

As long as you write that you are not here to troll, state you just want to talk hockey, and then slate every decision the Laffs have made, you'll be fine.
Also, we have no refs, so you'll be fine either way to be honest. |

You keep talking about shoulder injuries and i'm no Matthews or hockey player but at double his age i had damaged both my shoulders with a pretty physical job.10 years later i have never had any problems with them ever. Not saying that he never will have problems but with the strength and conditioning they have he might never have.Hes 21 years old man and has some growing to do yet.My shoulders were fixed by strengthening them and building more muscle. |

YAY he played through injury! The fact he played poorly doesn't mean anything because he's a tough SOB. It is the dumbest excuse in sports, they played through injuries. Sure 1 very important game, but many games. At least there's an excuse why the play was poor. |
