He was noting that Gaudette has more offense.

Either way Sutter should be part of the formula right now because having him in the lineup makes them better. How many more games do we need to see before we starting thinking that this team is no longer in a rebuild and actually a legitimate team.

I didn’t think Tortorella would get another job either...

haha true true, he has done reasonably well for them as well. Maybe WD kills it with his 4 lines.

They probably get a bit of a boost, maybe even enough to get himself an extension, but long term he wouldn’t be my choice.

It'll be like Torts, the second coach to make us look bad

I just can't imagine him ever winning a playoff series by playing lines in order from start to finish.

Torts won a cup in the NHL and had some success with the Rags though. If anything, the Canucks were the blip on his career. He's been decent everywhere else.

He’s actually done his job everywhere else. The Canucks weren’t going to win the cup, but they were a playoff team during his season here. WD’s first season was less a reflection of his coaching ability and more just having a coach that put the time in.

WD hasn't had a career yet. May be the same thing for him and blip=coached a really bad team

Team scored 4 or more goals 3 times in the first 12 games with Sutter.

Including game he got injuried where he only played a period. They have scored 4 or more goals in 3 out of 3 games.

Please don't take this as a I dislike Sutter. I'm just saying. He needs to be limited. The better players need to play more then him.

I think Green has been using Sutter effectively.

I don't think Sutter is having a very good year. He's been better.

Sutter's PDO is at 94.9, last season it was at 102.9
At even strength last season he was a plus 4 in goals. So far this season he is a minus 8

PDO is not considered to be a reliable stat at all. It's more of an indicator of puck luck.

He'll be fine.
