stats of any type are really about validating the eye test/gut feeling


hockey has way too many variables during each event. its a very hard game to quantify. lots of luck involved - albeit regression to the mean should occur over larger samples.

Not too many of my friends ask me why. They watch the game and say the team sucked last night didn't they ? I agree yup end of story.

What are you kidding? Most fans can't even see the "little things". Explains why LE is still playing in the NHL and no one can understand why.

b) knows how to keep puck in offensive zone

we need a culture of privilege to be a Canuck and to have passionate , sometimes irrational fans, but to see people say mean and untrue hateful rhetoric on sites like this because they don't like a player or his underlying #s is not what i see as a strong fan base

fans should expect their choice of words to possibly impact the team and players, and try to speak accordingly

I really don't love or hate any player in the NHL. I have no bias. Each player has a value to a team. That's it.

I'm not asking for myself. I'm asking for the fan that doesn't know why. The fan that isn't a GM, so they just show up to see the team start losing even though they used to win games. Left wondering what happened. A team that was doing so well, ended up so badly.

Who cares if this team is good or we get a high draft pick? You and I do not control this team .

The team has started a huge change. Not one person I can recall in here has said we will finish above 20 th . If they are good then it's a bonus , if not oh well.
