I just don't see EG being a player that adds a lot to this roster, so I would have him + DP + MDZ as players to trade / let go.

I hadn't seen that Tryamkin (who played right side fairly often) was sucking in the KHL, unfortunately. Adding Chatfield might be a possibility, though that would make it a pretty inexperienced D!

Given we are not in a PO hunt at the TDL a backroom deal could be made on a year by year basis. Edler is both loyal & he might do what is best for the team. He’s deeply rooted with his family here & likes his Kits lifestyle. If injured then no deal of course so that all said i see an Eastern team in the mix guessing he wouldn’t want to help conference rivals is the slim chance.

Reading some of the posts of our D on here makes me realize a logjam is very imminent. RHD we are not deep on so something has to give. If not for injuries the TDL or offseason should see us swinging some moves.

If we can continue to play hard & keep on winning at a reasonable clip through these injuries will trade value of our players increase?

As other teams get injuries will we be more open to trades?

Lastly do we want picks or prospects & if prospects at what position if we make a trade(s)?
