All good, man. Oilers fans probably take enough sh*t as it is.
Would you consider Myers and a 1st for Klefbom?
I don’t know what’s fair for the Klefdaddy - Rexypoo

No. I don't think Myers is a solution to any issue if it requires sending Klefbom out. He's our #1 Dman and is playing a lot like a real one right now so I don't see a deal where it makes sense for us to move him. If it's a matter of adding a LD behind Morrissey, Nurse could be had. Russell can cover with a proper partner (Myers, perhaps) until Jones takes another couple steps. Bouchard's showing has kinda alleviated the stress on the team to add an offensive RD. |

Don't let Rexy get you fired up. He put Connor and Wheeler on the 3rd line of his little "fantasy" lineup. That says enough. Not to mention his love of Trouba who still needs to step up his game another couple levels to prove he is a 7M D man in this league. Most fans who watch these games can see that Wheels and Connor are the two guys you want most on the ice whether we are up 1 goal, or down 1 goal in the final minute of a big game. Wheeler makes everyone around him better, and was huge for the Jets when Schiefs was injured, stepping up to the task of #1C. - bikeguy99
Are you familiar with the concept of rolling lines?
The idea is spread the wealth. Wheeler is “3rd” line because there is no 3rd line.
That said, Wheeler has been a boat anchor this season. Scheifele’s numbers explode in their brief time apart, while Wheeler’s shots and scoring chances for have been in the mid 20’s (for reference, Scheifele’s go from low 50s with Wheels to mid 60s without). This is a small sample of course, but if Wheeler isn’t playing injured (he absolutely is), we’re in trouble real fast. I love the guy to death, but he needs to swallow his pride and sit until he can contribute at even strength. That Scheifele Wheeler combo is down 6 goals at full strength, by my last count. |

I would sooner have you roast me again than entertain a Russell trade. Russell-Myers as a pairing does sound f*cking hilarious, though.
But for real, I just love Klefbom. He’s severely underrated when he’s healthy. That handsome devil |

I don't blame you. There's a reason he has the nickname 'Dreamy' within the Oilers online fanbase. Beyond the obvious merits of his skill, he's a beautiful man!
If trade value was directly proportional to handsomeness then he would be the most valuable player in the league |

This took a turn, and I’m okay with that. And I am not okay with that. |

All I’m gonna say is there is a coach with 3 cup wins in the last decade out in the wilderness, and that Matt Duchene will never have lower trade value than he does right now. I’m just sayin, is all. |

Fire Maurice and hire coach Q now! |

Ottawa has to be considering making wholesale coaching (and maybe GM) changes now. JQ to the sens? |

That would be an interesting choice for coach Q. Decided to play the game on legendary difficulty |

So ,we all seem to be convinced (...or hope at least) that Wheeler is playing injured. Then my question is: Why is he practicing this week instead of recovering? ...... |

If he's injured I think its a hand injury, I have seen him favouring it a few times. It could be taking something off the shot and maybe strength on the puck along the boards and in corners. It hasn't affected his PP playmaking - outstanding - still racking up assists. He's helping more than hurting and time away won't necessarily make it heal faster. |

Pride/pressure of captainly responsibilities/perceived necessity by Mo/lack of any depth outside the current roster.
Either that, or he’s somehow gone off a cliff. Everything seems off. He’s skating slower, floating more, the hands aren’t working right, and he can’t win a board battle to save his life.
I’d guess it’s a hip thing slowing him way down, and the rest is frustration |

Was at the Moose game last night, here’s what I saw.
-Niku doesn’t care, makes careless plays and doesn’t skate. But makes a nice first pass.
-Vesalainen had a couple good shifts but doesn’t do much
-stanly can’t make a first pass and had a lot of turnovers
- Comrie player very well!! Kept them in as long as he could
-makenzie, Hawkins, Appleton all invisible
- Seuss has a high motor and works hard
Overall, I didn’t see anyone who’d be an impact player on jets
Also, red wings high pick Zadina, was also invisible!!!

Honestly I was shocked at the pace of play last night, how a game being played that slow can prepare anyone for the NHL is beyond me. I hope it was just a one off and that’s not what you’d usually expect to see. |

I’m gonna assume it’s a one-off. Although, I do think their handling of our young defencemen is preeeeetty questionable right now. Niku is on his off side for no reason, Stanley is in over his head, and Green is younger and better than Nogier |
