I still think people overrate Sergachev a little bit.

Don't get me wrong, kid has loads of potential and will most likely be very good down the line.

He's still playing on tampa's third pair and has 4 points in 14 games so far.

I liked the trade back then and I still do now.

Both players will do great.

90gp 16g 38a 54p Forward (22/23 years old)

Keep telling yourself that and it might come true!

As long as you don't look at the numbers, the trade doesn't feel that bad

meh.
Sergachev had a very good season last year, better than this season so far.
probably the other way around for Drouin.
let's wait a few years.

Do you want to get paid what you're worth, in a warm gun loving low tax state and play with Seguin and Benn...or sign with a team spinning its wheels and get a worse deal?
- AdamFrench

A) have you ever been to Texas?
B) the Stars suck
C) seems pretty clear that he would have signed here had all things $$ been equal

One was playing for a team who couldn't buy a goal and had to heart.

The other was playing for the best team in the NHL that happens to be an offensive powerhouse.

Keep telling yourself one year tells the whole story.

Now that I know Adam French thinks it's a bad trade for the Habs, I'm sure it was an awesome one.

I agree. I have no problem with the trade. And the more I watch Sergachev, the more I am ok with the trade. I wish Drouin showed up more often, but that's the kind of player he is.

What I do have a problem with, is getting the Bolts feed, and having to listen to the guy who used to be the Whalers' play-by-play guy call the Habs "Can-a-d-enz", when he should know better. All the while, the dude sitting next to him, a guy who played D for the Habs, doesn't let him in on the error.

This is on cable - NHL Center Ice. I am able to watch it online as well, but I like the bigger screen.

No, not everyone. Just a few idiots, Edwards included. It's spelled in French. So either say it properly in French, or just say it the English way.
