Some of those made sense, for exemple Rouyn they just build a brand new store. But alot of stores are bleeding money, some are barely profitable and need major renovations that they can't justify with the return on investement. Not a good time for retail.

That's always an interesting one.

The most profitable stores in the chain are the Reno-Dépot where they cut down to minumum on operating costs including employees. They get the worst ratings in customers surveys about the service yet they make the most sales.

Seems like customers always complain about service but in the end don't relly give a poop.
