I just noticed the standings and see that the great Ron Hextall has his team, tied for the 8th playoff spot, with about 4 other teams.

I’m sorry but one decent game doesn’t cover Pouliot’s warts, he still makes the same mistakes he has since day 1. Too casual/slow to move the puck and low defensive awareness.



For me it’s not even his fault, but it’s Green who just overplays him. It’s why I hated Sutter under WD and would want Sutter gone too if WD was still coaching this team and using him as a 1st line RW + Top PP unit player. I just hate coach’s pets. AV had Raymond and Rome. WD had like 4-5 of them, Vey being the main one.

1 game aside, I’ve had this opinion based on watching him play last year and this year overall.

I would have the same opinion if he scored 2 goals tonight.

I think Hutton and Stecher have more to offer than Pouliot.

i know he makes some headscratching plays, but...

he isn't flashy but he does so so much more than any of our other dmen offensively

How badly did Quinn Hughes want to play against his brother Jack? He played through a groin issue to suit up for Michigan vs. USNTDP last month. "I probably shouldn't have been playing, actually. Coaches were kind of pissed at me because I couldn't practice the next week

Opinions here are not extreme from the pom pom crew. Who here thinks this is a playoff team . I would say close to no one.

There are on the other hand way more posters accusing the Pom Pom club of being extreme.

After we pay him a max contract and resign boeser we'll still be burdened with a large group of overpaid 4th liners, headed by eriksson and beagle. Great players for half their respective term. Horrible players for future thinking. I know some don't like to think ahead, and would prefer to give Seattle a draft pick to take eriksson off or hands but that's just short sighted thinking.
