“Ice time” is a tactic every coach uses to motivate. Green only has so many tools at his disposal

Leipsic and Motte are useless pretty much every game. the love for Motte because he tries hard baffles me. This is the NHL results matter.

Motte is 7th in avg ice time among forwards. 2 points in 14 games.

Granlund is a good two way winger.

Gaunce can at least take and win a faceoff. Horvat doesn't need to be overused and take 40 faceoffs. Wearing him out isn't going to help his offence.
