And, is it me, or is Crow trying to play the puck a lot more this year? Coming way out of his crease time and again?

Haha, yeah, that was really bad. Then it was followed by Elliott screwing up by playing the puck. I think Crow needs to not do too much and stay in the net. His job is tough enough with our defense. |

DK has been fantastic, but he is the first guy I move for a 1st and decent prospects. Its time to make changes. - z1990z
Keith's attractive contract, his high level of play and his renowned fitness would make him attractive to a contending team, Toronto maybe? Babcock loves Keith from coaching him on Team Canada and the Leafs' weakest spot is defense. I know many Hawk fans will wish for Nylander but his $8M a season contract demand would not only put the Hawks back into cap troubles with other Hawk contracts coming due but I'm ot sure Nylander is worth that okay at this point in his career. |

Don't like this over-activation of D men on offense. Do it when it makes sense and when it's safe like that drive Seabrook had. But Keith hanging down below the circles and even below the goal line then leaving his partner out to dry is Gustafsson like.
Activating makes sense when the play develops in a way that naturally takes a defender into the offense, especially if a scoring chance presents itself that is better for the D man to take versus a forward.
Where it doesn't make sense is when a blueliner just hangs out deep in the O zone but no scoring chances are developing, i.e. general cycling, board battles, etc. In those instances, D men need to stick to their post at the blueline. |

Crow looking very Crow-like.
If I am a Cup contending team with a deficiency in net I am calling the Hawks. He's an absolute stud, a champion, one of the best goalies of his era. I don't WANT to trade him, but he could bring a hell of a return from the right team. He is a legit Cup goalie, something few goalies can say. |

Agree, this is driving me crazy. A breakaway, I know few have happened already, but Keith was responsible for 1 by his long extended play behind the net. He was real slow to get back also. |

How many times do we see the Hawks pass to a guy at the blue line that has a defender in his grill? Answer = too man times. It begs the question of hockey IQ and knowing when and where to pass the puck. |

I also agree and Keith could fetch a decent price .If the HAWKS want to start a rebuild they need to get a guy named Mark Hunter as GM or head scout .. Man knows hockey players . |

Not to get the anti Bowman faction going, but Hunter wants to be a GM.

Whatever happened to the old fashion double stack?? If Crow does that hard to his right there, that doesn't have a chance to go in. |

Looks like they are going through the motions and absolutely know urgency what so ever it there game. One would think a coaching change would at least get a bit of jump in there step |

PP:
Slow motion- small players - no urgency-no one in front and passing to guys who are covered
Same can be said for the Penalty Kill
Next power play - send out Kane with 4 Defenceman
I’m going live to the LA fame & Wild games next week- 🇨🇦😁
