Why is it redundant? If you have a shutdown line what would be better?

Sutter Beagle Motte

or

Leipsic Beagle Motte

- VANTEL

Having both center two different lines would be redundant, is what I meant. If you want to stick them both on one line, that'd work. But Gaunce can be a shutdown winger too, in that situation, I suppose... so if you can get something worthwhile for Sutter, would seem advantageous to trade him and plug Gaunce into that line.

(I'm not a huge Gaunce fan, mind you, and actually like Sutter for what he brings... but if the choice was Sutter on a wing, or Gaunce there plus cap savings and a decent pick, I'd be inclined to choose the latter)

Gaunce is this years Subban.

I would really be surprised if you see him 10 more times in a Canuck uniform. His contract is up and if Canucks had any real plans for him he would be playing right now.

I think he sealed his fate when the Canucks player got cross checked right in front of him and he just stood there and looked.

Motte Beagle Sutter best shut down line in NHL book it.

Gaunce is a horrible excuse for a hockey player. There are 3 or 4 complete idiots on hockey buzz that worship him but intelligent fans know he is useless. Hopefully he is waived and claimed so we can stop talking about him

That's the line I'd prefer, Leipsic is terrible defensively.

The only player I ever remember to never make a mistake was Aaron Rome .

I was hoping he'd have a great start to the year and get some offense going, but he looks worse and worse as the season goes on.

I was hoping Green would get him to agitate and be a pest with a little offense added as well but he looks like an AHL'er so far.

We'll see how much rope guys like him and Pouliot get, both played for Green in the Dub.

With the injuries, lots of rope for Pouliot. So far, doesn't seem like Leipsic has much.

Ya, was hoping that too. Think he's just too small/light to agitate, he gets bounced around pretty easily.

might as well just post goal and assist totals as well if we're just doing basic lists

Why? 5 players on the ice at a time, only 3 can get a point on each goal.

Well loui has 11 points and has been on for 11 goals. Gaudette only has 2 points but has been on for 3 goals.

DP has been on the ice for 21 goals and only has 3 points.

I just sit back and laugh during those, it's not a (frank)ing religion where you pick one and die with it

you can choose to use both to make judgements
