Jack Rathbone and Adam Fox are again the top pair for Harvard. Loggin big minutes and getting points. 14 points between the 2 of them in 3 games played.

Holy! I think they play in a really weak division, but that's a lot of points either way

Adam fox was roughly a point per game player the last 2 years at Harvard
Playing with Rathbone, he has 8 points in 3 games. Not a bad start, and probably a testament to how good Rathbone is

Ya bottom line is dominating a dev league is always a good sign. 5'10 175 is not too far off what his playing weight would be at the NHL level. Our blueline could be pretty mini in the future with him, Stecher and Hughes. Lefty is going to love it!

you're taking it out of context. JB didn't know who Rathbone was during the draft. Brackett and Weisbrod were the ones who told him to draft him (as per the video).

Did anybody else notice Markstrom seemed to tweak something during the shootout vs Detriot?
Is Demko ready to play yet? I know he was back practicing with the Comets.
Would love to see him get some games.
Maybe even give the next one to Bachman.
Marky needs some rest

Watching and listening to interviews you can tell this team is close and like each other. I think they are having a lot of fun. I lived in Edmonton in the 80 s and there is a lot of similarities.

That does not mean we are going to the playoffs or winning the Cup , but you can see they are starting to feel like rock stars. They are having a lot of fun and really like being with each other.

I heard some snippets from Bieksa in an interview and had me scratching my head. He said if he was a Canuck he would have made Matheson pay the price. I remember Bieksa having 2 fights a year . He was slow and beaten to the outside often. He sort of reminded me of Guddy.

I look at KB as a Duck not a Canuck.

Something’s working. Or more likely, a lot of little things are. Management, coaching and players all deserve some credit. Even if they fall back a bit, which I imagine they will, you gotta appreciate how hard they play and the speed they are playing at.

I’ve got nothing bad to say about Bieksa. I thought he was a good Canuck.

I don't have bad things to say . I think he felt a little bitter when he got traded and on occasion will take a small jab at the team. I will never look at him a favorite . He was just okay in my books

Coffee and CArolines are on the menu for breakfast tomorrow morning. Best part of the night was watching Krug try to act like a tough guy and get destroyed.

You have to give Krug credit for at least stepping up to the plate for his teammate. Wish EG had the same kind of chutzpah.

Fair enough. I don’t think it’s ever a bad thing that a guy doesn’t want to be traded. He’s not headed to the hall of fame any time soon, but for a middle pairing guy he fit his role.

Getting a little tired of being told to eat crow because I thought they were going to be bad, but other than that it has been a ride so far.

To be fair it was a long line who thought they would be terrible . You had to be a little crazy to think they would make the playoffs ( Yes Thunda I am looking at you)

Bieksa on 31 Thoughts: "I don’t think players are scared of fines or suspensions at all. I never was. When you’re making millions and millions of dollars a year do you care if you’re fined $2000? I mean the only guy that would is Burrows cause he’s so cheap."

Bieksa con't: "You’re getting a paycheque for $100,000 every two weeks, do you care if it’s shy $3000 because you speared someone or hit somebody from behind? The answer is no."

Hes making some good strides forward for sure. I'd really like to see him have a shot at the 4th line next year. Dahlen is slowly starting to adjust and find his game also, he'll definitely need the full year as well. They really don't have much help right now in terms of secondary scoring. Carcone, MacMaster, Jasek are not great. Kero, Dahlen, and Mace are leading the way.
Palmu and Gadjovich are both playing well but getting very little ice time.
