Sooooooo...

Anyone want to talk about Friedman reporting that the Leafs have told the other 30 teams to start making offers?

- Atomic Wedgie

We’ve speculated so much

Now we are too exhausted when the actual rumors actually happen

Nylander wont be paid 8 million by a team. Apparently the agent had been talking to teams and nobody said 8.

I will say this. If Ek was ever right about something oh please be it that the Leafs are either getting Hamilton or signing Willie to 8 years

Feels like there might be something to the smoke that's been surrounding Carolina regarding Nylander. That's the team that was named first and still seems like a good fit. With a potentially meddlesome owner who might ok a deal that nets the Hurricanes a player like Nylander. A no doubt top six forward.

I still think Willy signs and stays. But it makes you wonder if Calgary ever offered Hamilton for Nylander.

Definitely no to a trade including Lucic. Even at 50%+ salary retained, he would occupy a roster spot that can be (and already is) filled by someone cheaper, younger and better. Not a smart way to add value, even if the other trade pieces are good. Plus, the current D actually looks pretty good so far. I'd rather keep Nylander and watch the Leafs decimate the opposition with its ridiculous offense. This is a legitimate playoff team even without Matthews and Nylander
- Parade Planner

Lucic at 3 million > Ennis, Leivo, Gauthier...

There's plenty of useless players he'd be better than. Just a matter of the right price. Also a matter of the two top prospects coming with him to justify the salary dump.

Andersen should have played tonight and Sparks should have played against New Jersey.

Toadaso.

you always go for the win in the first of back-to-backs. You never know how your team will play on the 2nd night.

That's bullpoop. The Leafs scored 6 against the Devils. Sparks could have shat himself for 5 against and they still win. And the Devils played Kinkaid, who is a back-up himself and played like one too.

The poop goalie plays the poop team. The good goalie plays the good team. If you're expecting to be weaker and tired in the 2nd game, you're going to rely on your goalie to win you the game anyway. Better off relying on Andersen than Sparks for that.

And for (frank) sakes, it's Boston! Give Andersen the chance to get the W against the rival in a game that matters.

I'd hire Quenneville as an assistant, ya know, to keep him honest.

And let's be real, Quenneville has 3 Cups and knows how to handle a team of young, skilled players like the Leafs have.

Let's see if you shoot of your big trap when their full team is back including Matthews, Nylander and the starting goalie, you have plenty to worry about when your 1 line dries up because that's your whole team, your other 3 lines SUCK, douchebag troll!

So kill Andersen last night? Goalie change doesn't fix 4 cross seam goals.

So much wrong here.

Kincaid is Devils starter.

Get the win at home in the first game.

No goalie was changing the outcome last night. It's not like the leafs played well and the goalie poop the bed on 5 goals. The leafs sucked last night and sparks had no chance on 4 of them. #5 was brual, but the game was long since over by then.

Notice Pasta on that last play? fading back to the top of the circle looking for the cross seam pass... same play every time... totally predictable...
- Hockey_Reverend

You know it’s coming, but you can’t stop it. Ovechkin does the same thing. Predictable but unstoppable
