What if it's a tactic to get his demands to come down. If the teams that are interested in him and work out a trade the leafs are happy with but they can't work out a deal with Willie then maybe he realize that he's worth less than he's asking.

Not giving credit to one of the best lines in hockey is surprising. Every NHL team facing the Bruins has the same game plan...stop that line - but few can do it.
Those passes are the same passes Marner makes.

I don't get it either, maybe babaschlong thinks he needs a bigger d-man against the Bruins. Marancin the worst player on the team by a mile. I understand your point on the passes. At least 2 of those passes that led to goals were after Sparks puked out juicy rebounds. On the Pastrnak's 3rd goal - he looked bad - floated over his head. Leafs were up something like 26 -8 (shots on goal) and losing 2-0 - that sucks.

1st goal was junk and a real back breaker after a good start....IMO
