Wasn’t it the Bergeron short side goal? (1st) or was that the 2nd...anyways..that goal kinda sucked for Sparks.
- Garnie

Bergeron scored first goal off a cross crease pass that he tip in. Pass was from sparks right, going across the crease to his left. Bergeron tipped it and deflected it back to sparks right.

By no means a weak goal.

Add to nylander? Move on then.
- burn

I’d do a little more but not Kap or Brown I don’t think...it would be nice to have that RHD - so you’d have to think about it....Hamilton puts up some nice #’s and we do have pretty good depth on the wing if they wanted 1 more winger or Zaitsev

Meh - I think he should have had it - maybe I’ll watch it again later.

If have to add to nylander to get a top 4 dman it's not worth it at all. We're not trading for a stud #1 here. Nylander+ gets you more than just a good top 4 guy.

The athletic (hockey) is made up of former main stream media.
Also, sportsnet reported this a while ago.
This isnt news to most media.

- Fakepartofme

Cool, they are putting out quality content while SN is not.

And lol, they reported there would be cap savings. The Athletic broke it down and provided quality examples of how it actually works.

There is a reason I had to explain it to some on here. It seems to me that Burn thought there were cap savings in the following years but had no idea that this years cap hit would inflate 3-4 million because of it.

I’m not saying you have to go out and get a subscription. I completely understand that people don’t want to pay to read hockey content. I’m just saying their articles are super in depth and you’ll learn a hell lot more than mainstream SN or HB articles.

Hamilton’s a top pairing I would think.

No?

Puts up some good #’s

Agreed.

We just don’t know if there is a team out there that thinks Nylander+ fits into their winning game plan enough to give up a stud D.

If a team is out there that could do it...it would be Carolina.

Yup.

Imo he isn’t being used enough in Carolina. Probably because they have 5 top 4 guys...

2nd most 5v5 with Canes and best CF

I don’t care either way, but out of most D I’ve heard talked about...I’d rather him.

And Bergerons goal was not cross crease - you better go back and take another look.

Still weak in my opinion.

Leaf fans: make gardiner isn't a number one dman, even though his mins say he is and his production is.

Leaf fans: Hamilton is a number one despite his numbers and ice time saying he's not.

I guess it's what ever you want it to be.

Umm, what the begeron goal most certainly was cross crease. I already laid it out step by step. Bruin player circled the net passes from sparks right and throws it across the top of the crease going to sparks left. Bergeron deflected it back to sparks right.

Let's see if you shoot of your big trap when their full team is back including Matthews, Nylander and the starting goalie, you have plenty to worry about when your 1 line dries up because that's your whole team, your other 3 lines SUCK, douchebag troll!

Calm down bud. Everyone here knows I’m just (frank)ing around. I’ve been around these parts longer and more often than you and notice how no else seemed to really sound off on me? Might be a hint. It’s a regular season game and not all that important and we’ll probably lose to the Leafs in the playoffs anyways. Just screwing around with you guys, lighten up.

Hamilton’s a top pairing. Before this season Hamilton would of been easily considered a better dman then Rielly by majority of people.

Go watch it the 1st goal - not going to argue, just watched it.
Pastranak throws it from left corner and Berg tips it left short side - killer after dominating...oh well.

Cheers, I hope we just sign Nylander and pray our D can hold up in the PO’s

Didn't the leafs have a huge advantage in wins against the Bruins lately?

Agreed.

The numbers suggest he’s been a top 15 defender in the league the past few years.

I thought so too, not saying he’s a Burns or Doughty but can play top pair and has put up good #’s the last 2 seasons plus this start....plus he’s RHD bumping Hainsey down and MM goodbye
