Calm down bud. Everyone here knows I’m just (frank)ing around. I’ve been around these parts longer and more often than you and notice how no else seemed to really sound off on me? Might be a hint. It’s a regular season game and not all that important and we’ll probably lose to the Leafs in the playoffs anyways. Just screwing around with you guys, lighten up.

- RickJames77

Hey Rick - How's it going? Hate how good the Red Sox were this year! I can't believe people still saying Trout should win the MVP. Mookie Betts would be my pick.

Not in the playoffs, which is what I was answering him about
- ClarksonDavid

Yes obviously, but that's the point no. They did beat them, and substantially and over a period of time. So they can do it.

I won’t expect the leafs to beat the Bruins until they prove they can do it. (frank) you guys, troll
- ClarksonDavid

The Leafs defense is severely underrated and I think they’ll add at the deadline. That and I have stupidly underrated Andersen for a while. I think it’s your time this year IMO. I’m not saying the cup, but to at least make it to the second round.

Burn - what do you think about Leivo - should he be on this team?

Leaf fans: make gardiner isn't a number one dman, even though his mins say he is and his production is.

Leaf fans: Hamilton is a number one despite his numbers and ice time saying he's not.

I guess it's what ever you want it to be.

Umm, what the begeron goal most certainly was cross crease. I already laid it out step by step. Bruin player circled the net passes from sparks right and throws it across the top of the crease going to sparks left. Bergeron deflected it back to sparks right.

Its all about depth. The teams Hamilton played for had more defensive depth than the team Gardiner plays for.

Just like Kadri could be a number two on most teams and Tavares a number one but they get bumped down because of depth. Similarly, in the past, Bozak was a number 1C on the Leafs but would be a number 4C today.

They really were something. Definitely the best Red Sox team ever and I can’t put my finger on a team in my lifetime that’s close. I’m addmittedly not a big baseball fan outside of the Red Sox though so I could just easily be missing one.

But other than that I’ve been good! How about you? Gotta start poking my head in here a bit more. Been on an unintentional hiatus.

Wasn’t cross crease -

Holy (frank) you’re stunned some days

- Garnie

Pass from faceoff dot across the top of the crease tipped back to the right.

Bergeron comes from left side of the crease and tips it while standing top the the crease.

How'd the puck get to Bergeron at the top of the crease if it didn't cross the crease?

Keep banging that crumb though no matter how wrong you are.

I'm out. Time for hockey practice. The 7 yr old girls have a better grasp of hockey knowledge than you apparently

Outside of the playoffs, yes. And it was a massive one.
- RickJames77

Leafs are obviously pulling the switch-a-roo this year. Letting the bruins win the regular season and leafs winning the playoff series.

*plan to tank regular season leafs games commence*

I believe we won one regular season game against you guys last year. I think it was in Toronto and of course not the one I went to in Toronto

Been good, working way too hard, need a break but no time. As you pointed out, good times are coming for Leaf Nation. Been a few surprises in the NHL this year for sure. I have to say not surprised that Vegas is sh!tting the bed this year.

I also have the absolute worst luck trying to see Matthews in the regular season. I want to say that’s the 5th or 6th leafs game I’ve been to in the regular season since he joine the team and I’ve seen him once.

Someone else has to explain the 1st goal to him, he will argue black is white with me til he turns blue and passes out.

I had a bit too much beer at the game to remember precisely enough. Will probably watch the long replay in a bit.

Yeah they can do it but they haven’t been able to when it really counts so you won’t see me talking poop or anything til they prove they can answer to that (frank)ing line that’s been killing them seems like

Can’t imagine they’d move him so early after acquiring him but I’d do it.
- ClarksonDavid

Well who knows? What if Nylander was their guy all along. Dubas and Carolina were talking a lot around draft time. He wasn’t available then.

But now he is...it’s a business and if Nylander is the player they wanted all along the decision isn’t as tough as it seems.

Bergy has been on an absolute tear this year. Honest question from an outside Boston perspective. Is it reasonable to say he is in the early running for the Hart trophy?

I think so, but I know I am bias.

He's up there for sure. Great defensively, and very good on the PP. If Rask continues to be lousy - it might hurt his chances. That said, McDavid and Crosby have to be the favorites if their teams do ok.

Agreed on all points.

Would be cool to see a player like him win it. Even Kopitar last year would’ve been a nice change of pace IMO.

Kopitar had a really good year last year, still think his contract sucks large. He's had one lousy year and one good one and he's getting older, and together with his team slower. LA looks putrid this year.

I’m right as usual lol

Burn was on meth so his recollection is a little foggy.

Cheers
