I hate it when "journalists" ask a player about another player, ask Provorov ya dip.

They are going for the sound bite of throwing a teammate under the bus. Got to create drama.

Don't make the mistake I made earlier, just saying.

Seriously that was real...the Flyers have been playing better, won how many in a row and they get that because they gave up a goal and little sloppy in the closing minute?

People talk about how players are soft and cry, I think it's more of the fans. No hype, no energy, just boooooo why don't you score 8 goals. No wonder they play like crap at home. The fans are not like years past for sure.

- Glak18

If only the fans were better the Flyers would be better.

Keep up the mundane and mediocre slop we’ve been graciously given for years and the rink will stay quiet.

No amount of mascots, attractive reporters or the broadcast crew scrambling for positives will change that.

Give folks something to cheer for, and they will.

They gave plenty to cheer earlier in that game. Elliott was playing great and not one save drew a cheer

So fans will never cheer again until they win a cup? Maybe they need a 30 game win streak? Is there less patience because the Eagles FINALLY won a super bowl?

They are most definitely not a contender that's for sure. They're still a bubble team until the youth develops a little more and they get consistent goaltending. I don't know how me saying the panthers aren't trash automatically turns into me thinking this flyers team will win a cup

I can’t say.

Personally, I’ll be very straight - they’ve kind of beaten me down the last few years. Kind of expect a loss most nights. Also can’t get behind the overall passive, no scrums kind of approach. Not really the Flyers I know.

Speaking for myself anyway.

Nice to see Hak defend Prov a bit there.

No coach makes every right move. The microscope on Hakstol has been asinine since year 2 ended.

Elliott and G had that situation handled Hak didn't need to say anything there

- dragonoffrost

Hakstol didn’t have to take Konecny off the ice at the end of the game or the top line in the middle of it when he wasn’t sharp for most of it?

Dude, it's binary thinking. If you don't call someone the best then that means you are saying they suck. Pretty common now, the middle area disappeared.

Weren't the Panthers predicted to be to 3 in the Atlantic before the season started and since Luongo returned they look like it. But yep they're tag and we either win the cup or we suck.

Very tough league. A lot of middle of the road stuff, and some dumpster/elite teams.

I'm pretty chill I was just trying to understand how it got to that but I do feel like the team at the beginning of the year was worse than last year but the recent stretch has been a lot better so I'm a little more lenient when they lose a tight game to a solid team

But people act like they just got torched 8-1. Even in the 1st period 0-0 the fans were booing. To me that's not enjoying hockey...that's where's my beer, did they they score yet, booooooo.

Just curious, that's it, about your opinion. Do you consider Toronto elite? I see Maple Leafs fan complain as much as the Flyers after a win...

Oh crap Flyer fans did turn into Leafs fans.
