When is Raffl supposed to come back?

When JVR and Raffl return I would go:

Giroux-Couts-Konecny
Lindblom-Patrick-Voracek
JVR-Laughton-Simmonds
Weise-Lehterä-Raffl

- arichardson22

This is what I do as well. Weal to the pressbox and Oobie Koobie to the Phantoms. I still think Laughton deserves an extended look at center, he has earned it with his play so far.

Idk, Lehterä hasn’t been that bad this year. I think he’s a smarter hockey player than Weal, doesn’t solely have a perimeter game, and most importantly isn’t knocked off the puck easily.
- arichardson22

Not to mention given the opportunity Weal has had, he only has 2 points more than Lehtera

He absolutely has. He’s arguably been one of our most consistent players and there’s been a few games where our team played lifelessly and he still showed up. He’s playing confidently as well. Reward him at least a few games at 3C.

Laughton or Raffl would play C. Raffl has been used at C before. At the end of the day I think the team grabs a 3 C as a rental near the TDL
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

Laughton has been thriving at wing and I think actually has some chemistry right now with Lehterä.

I would welcome an upgrade at 3C but in my opinion if Laughton stays on wing, Weal is their best option for 3C. I recognize his faults but unless they move Laughts to C I think Weal is the best option. Raffl as 3C is not a great option.

Barkov is legit. And he was recently voted by his fellow NHL players as the most underrated played in the league. He played very well against us last time.
- arichardson22

He's voted the most underrated player every year, when will this end? I think hes garnered recognition by now.

JVR doesn't play the right side and Simmer typically only plays right.

To make a playoff push this team is most likely going to need a 3C. A guy i would have interest in and could be available is Anisimov. He's 30 and has two more years left but I think he could fill that role this year and moving forward. Also i think he also plays on the PK. Big center. Proven player. Cap hit is around 4.5 i think.

Maybe you get them to retain some money but if they don't still not a bad deal especially for a team moving forward. He fits a lot of needs.

I'd like a rental 3C too, as long as they look like a playoff team come February, but I'd prefer someone on an expiring contract if possible.

I thought about that but I expect this team to compete moving forward. I know people will say we have Frost, Rubstov(who is playing wing), Vorobyev but I think a proven center will help more especially when it comes to matching up with teams like the Caps, the Pens and Columbus.

Another guy would be Cody Eakin if Vegas is still struggling. Younger then Anisimov but could fill that 3C and also i think another PK guy

If JvR doesn’t play tonight, I’m hoping for Thursday. We’re on a roll, so adding him to the line up might be tricky. I think it’s best we see him on Thursday against an OK devils team, rather than screw up chemistry against a good Lightning team. I think we want him more warmed up for Saturday.

If he's ready to go he's playing, you're not holding out a $7M player because you're playing a good team haha. Idc how good we've looked, if he's ready he's going in.

It will end when Lauren Hart is no longer "the number one anthemist in the NHL."

Raffl wont be kept out of the lineup. When JVR and Raffl return, Weal will go back to Cote Suite and NAK will be sent down

Weal is the 3C averaging 14 minutes per game. Why would he come out of the lineup when two wingers return?

Hak hasn't used Raffl at center in his 3+ year tenure.

I don't think Raffl would go to center. i think Laughton would. best lineup with everyone helthy and the way guys are playing:

Giroux - Couturier - Konecny
Lindblom - Patrick - Voracek
JVR - Laughton - Simmonds
Raffl - Lehtara - Weise

Extra: Weal

No, Raffl is a winger that has occasionally played center. You've got that backwards.

...but he actually did a bit with the Leafs last year. Also, Simmer has played left briefly as well but only in spot play.

She's very good, and she's also pretty good looking. But I find it hard to believe that she's the #1 ranked anthemist in the NHL year after year. She definitely WAS #1 way back in 2005, when the poll was taken and she won, but there are many others around the league who are better now.
