I don't think Raffl would go to center. i think Laughton would. best lineup with everyone helthy and the way guys are playing:

Giroux - Couturier - Konecny
Lindblom - Patrick - Voracek
JVR - Laughton - Simmonds
Raffl - Lehtara - Weise

She's very good, and she's also pretty good looking. But I find it hard to believe that she's the #1 ranked anthemist in the NHL year after year. She definitely WAS #1 way back in 2005, when the poll was taken and she won, but there are many others around the league who are better now.

I don't think it has anything to do with good enough. I think it was roster construction. They started the season with Vorobyev there so Laughton was on the wing where hes was pretty good. Vorobyev wasn't going to play wing.

Also I don't see Lehtara playing wing as Laughton brings more speed there.

Vorobyev is in Lehigh now. Weise is playing well. I don't see them taking Weise out so logically Laughton, whose playing well, shifting to center and taking Weal's spot seems logical in constructing this roster.

Giroux is awful. Worst 100 point player in history Couldnt hack it as 4th line center so moved him to wing

JVR doesn't play the right side and Simmer typically only plays right.

JvR has absolutely played the right side in his career, in Toronto with Kadri and Bozak and Kadri played the left side.

that is true....but I really think Laughton has more skill then some give him credit for. I hope he gets the chance to take the 3 C role. Give him JVR and Simmond's and lets see if he can do it. I think he'll be successful.

Totally agree.

Also that 3rd line would play a pretty good north/south game. Two big wingers and a solid center with some speed and skill.

Weal is the 3C averaging 14 minutes per game. Why would he come out of the lineup when two wingers return?

NAK and Weal are out when JVR and Raffl are back. Laughton is 3C flanked by JVR and Simmer. If you don't like having 2 power forwards on the same line, drop Lindblom down to the 3rd and move JVR up to 2nd.

4th line is Weise/Lehtera/Raffl.

Just my 2 cents.
