They are, as is Lindblom. Again my point was Lindblom's play style is closer to Simmonds than JvR is to Simmonds...not Lindblom is Simmonds.

IMO if Lindblom and Patrick are still playing well together and the 3rd line with Weise and Simmonds are playing the same then you have to put JvR on the 4th until he gets his legs back. I don't care how much he is getting paid, he is getting 7M to help the team win.

I mean who is the most expensive defenseman the Flyers have? I don't hear anyone yelling swap Provovov with AMac.

You don't bring a guy back to play sheltered minutes, if he is ready to go he's playing where he should be (top 9). Am i really having a conversation on this site on why JVR should play over Weise? Insane.

I just cant see it going well. I can see the thought process behind it but can also see all the turmoil it would create with the fan base and media. It may backfire and create even more unnecessary pressure for him.
