Well, you’re both taking to long to reply but ask yourselves, what is Giroux’s native tongue is because he has two. Even in the English Canadian language we spell words different, Colour and Favourite for example.

All of this has nothing to do with anything because I see very little Simmonds in Lindblom just because of strong board play and popping in rebounds.

So Dale Weise moving to the fourth line is going to break the winning formula??? He may not be 100% but that doesn't mean he's skating on the fourth line. What line was Giroux on when he came back?? Think before you type.

So JvR coming back from injury on the 3rd means....twice as much winning on the same night. Hmm nope that's stupid.

JvR coming back from injury...playing the percentages that means JvR will be less effective (legs, stamina, timing) than JvR playing say 10 games after coming back. Yup, logically that makes sense.

So a less than effective JvR playing with Weal and Simmonds means a less than effective 3rd line for a few games or until JvR and linemates mesh well together, but there is no guarantee how long that will take.

Now let's think for you...does that mean JvR will be buried on the 4th line forever? No, that would be stupid to think that way because a thinking person would realize it is more beneficial to ease JvR for a game, which doesn't disrupt the way the current team is playing, while also giving him PP time to help sort that mess out.

But your right, throw JvR on the top line and play him 38 mins in the game so his timing magically appears quickly.

I am trying to help you. If I knew what your native language was then I could try to speak to you in that language so you have an easier time to understand. Obviously English is not your native language.

I just cant see it going well. I can see the thought process behind it but can also see all the turmoil it would create with the fan base and media. It may backfire and create even more unnecessary pressure for him.

You do realize EVERY single player losing significant amount of time due to an injury is less effective when they get back? I don't care if you are Crosby, practice doesn't help you get your game timing back right away.

Like I said before...

I don’t disagree with your thought process, but it depends on how JVR is looking in practices. Even with Weise playing well, if JVR is mostly back to healthy, he is an upgrade.

Of course practice doesn’t get their timing back, but coaches will be able to gauge e if skills and skating are all back from injury. Lots of players return to their original line post injury.
