F the Bolts.
Sabres 4-3. Dahlin in his first NHL fight and also with the game-winner. - LandlordTom
Vs Hedman perhaps?
Battle of the Swedish draft stars? Dahlin says, "Get out my way you Oaf" and Hedman coconuts him?

How has Hutton been for you guys?
When there was all the uncertainty around Crawford, I really wanted the Hawks to bring Hutton back. |

Solid, but not dominant.
Real hot start. Cooled off a bit.
It's a pleasant change, he doesn't let in weak goals, which is really what our problem was last year. I'm worried we are going to burn him out, he's been playing a ton. |

He's had some great games where he let in a soft one
He's had some iffy games
He's had some good games
He's had a couple of bad games
He has been above average so far
With his cap hit and the type of guy he is in the room I think he was the perfect goalie for this Sabres team. Plus he has won a shootout already! |

Samson Reinhart is back on L1 with Skinner-Eichel for a reason. Reinhart has scored three two-point games in his last 4 games (1G,5A) during that stretch. #Sabres are 8-0-0 this season when Reinhart scores 1 point and 24-2-3 (.879) in his career when he records at least 2 points
The kid is back.

Don't agree here
There have been a few real weak goals
The third goal for Vancouver for example |

Seldomly.
Lehner and Johnson used to let one in every other game, if not multiple. He's really put a damper on that IMO.
Has he let in more than 3 clunkers all year? If not, I'd say he's a vast improvement in that area.

His biggest strength is his ability to lock it down at the end of games. He becomes very focused. He is also a smallish goalie, which presents problems. I love his stick handling. He's been solid. Very nice pickup for us |

Hold your shock but, agreed
He learned what he needed to in the A last year and most of his production was from direct involvement in either starting/finishing the play.
This was supposed to be a transition year anyways, this would be the optimal time to have him and nylander work through that here. - Sabresfan-365
I am not shocked.
but I don't know what "womp womp" means. Don't forget I am old and I got dumbed up a long time ago. |

He's let in about 5 or 6 where he would absolutely like back
But they aren't game killers that's for sure. A couple of them the Sabres were going to lose, and a few of them was a 2nd goal where the Sabres won by a pair or more. |

Maybe that's the reason for my selective memory. There have been a few, but a half dozen seems high to me. The lesser impact could explain it. |

As long as he shows up more often you'll never get a complaint out of me regarding his play anymore. Im happy he can bring his A game when he is playing his hometown team with 30 of his family and friends in the stands. Now he needs to bring it more consistently. I also hope the partying days are behind him now that Kane is gone. |

Nice. Good to hear. I'm sure an improved blueline helps him out as well.

He also makes defensemen better with his passing and puck handling. It's worked nicely both ways |

I just remember the sabres were something absurd like 12-0-1 when Pouliot had a goal |

That's awesome.
I know Lehner struggled a bit all around.
I've always liked the Sabres and want them to do well.
Actually, I felt the Sabres and Yotes would be sneaky good this years with the nice moves they made in the offseason. |

I would post something, but it's NSFW and likely a ban, even here in the Wild West of HB. |

5 - 2 TBL.
Buffalo scores late in the third to make it 5-2
Tampa comes in and controls the game.
Fans in Buffalo call for Housleys head. |

Bills waived WR Terrelle Pryor.
Someone named Robert Foster led the Bills in receiving in their upset smash of the Jets as Pryor was targeted zero times. Pryor drew five looks in two games in Buffalo. If the 29-year-old converted quarterback can't last in the Bills' desperate receiver corps, his NFL future is looking bleak. - SABRES 89
Gotta make room for Deonte Thompson again. |
