Time for Tage to go to the A and develop his game.
Someone needs to get in this kids head and help him understand he is 6'5" - 205lbs ... stop playing a perimeter game...go to the freakin net HARD every-freakin-time!
He plays like Jane out thete...no roomfor it.
Show him clips of Wilson's goal last night...everynight for 2 hours before bedtime.

Great, I'll do anything to get rid of Thompson... He is absolutely useless out there.

IMO that might be a bit of overpayment...Leafs want a RhD ... so Risto should have decent value.
Nylander's contract demands scares me as well, if Skinner's value scares us a bit when on track for 35-45 goals, Nylander's demands should make us all cringe.

He is.
Way too light on his skates...gets knocked of the puck like he's 4'10" 120lb weakling.
He needs to work on his skating alot along with learning how to drive unrelentingly to the net.

Nice win last night, boys.

Hutton was stellar.

It was a fun game to watch because the pace was fast.

For the first time in three years some of my friends are actually happy and have thanked me for convincing them to keep our seasons.

Think we need right wingers more than we need left. Rochester has guys on the left ready to come up.

Kucherov also hit 2 posts in the last 30 seconds, and they weren't "well that was the only place to shoot" type posts either.

I don’t know where to find the stat, but during the broadcast the announcers commented several times that the first lines were going head to head.

There’s a certain under appreciated 2dOA draft pick who played on the first line tonight, and contributed an assist.

If that line shut down Stamkos and Kuch for 16 shifts, it would suck for a particular narrative.

I definitely saw that matchup a few times. And 13 pts in 18 g for the kid, he's revving up, he's revving up!

All I'm saying about the 4th line is that they did an admirable job holding them off last night. Not sure how to look up the stat either, but I'd love to see a heat map for each line showing the shots generated for and against with the area of the ice the shot was taken from. I'd wager the Larsson line kept a lot more shots to the outside and the middle 6 did not. That's what I was seeing anyways.

This.

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters at this point is what column we added a +1 to, and it was the W column. When the standings are finalized in April, nobody will remember the fact that Kucherov hit a post twice in the last 30 seconds of a game in mid-November.

I was having discussion in teh Leafs blog and came across a thought.

Once ROR was moved off of Buffalo, they got better
once Cal O'Reilly was move of of Rochester, they got better. Especially Nylander.

The O'Reilly bros F*)&^ this organization.

Now STL has O'Reilly and they are at the bottom.

There was a discussion a bit back about Hutton. I said he'd only let in like 3 clunkers this year. Others pointed out it was probably closer to 5 or 6. Fortunately, a lot of the bad goals didn't cost us...and I already don't remember. You're 100% right.
