I would never get food in Lockport to begin with but overall their quality over the last few years has fallen off of a cliff

Going to NYBP tonight for the wife's birthday. They had good food last time I was there and hope for more of the same tonight!

Blasphemy.

LKPT pizza is the best - Lock City and Pizza Oven both incredible.

Shamus is an excellent restaurant.

Ever been to Reid's? (summer Reid's, not winter Reid's)

- Angler

Oh god, no. Half the time you get sweet sauce that you didn't even ask for and they don't tell you that you're getting.

Best greasy slice of pie in Cockport is Sub Delicious.

Wagner's has some of the best wings in WNY

Go to the Penalty Box for amazing poutine in several varieties (including a buffalo style with bleu and buffalo sauce).

Other than that, yeah, Reid's but that's about it unless you like poopty italian food.

And Shamus doesn't even have Shepherd's Pie on the menu, like, what?

NYBP was great when they opened, i went again about a year ago and was pretty disappointed, but i heard they made some changes again. Let me know how the food is.

I, along with MANY others will never be ready for Lockport. And i am 100000000% ok with that.
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

Can confirm: Lockport looks quaint on the surface but go to Gonzo's on a Saturday night and you'd have to walk back outside to check for a Gay Pride flag because you'd swear that you walked into Marcello's, that's how gay this town is, and I'm not even being homophobic but they're pretty aggressive about it.

Had a gay co-worker who used to tell me some real sh!t and ohhhh booooy.....

I don't do burgers at places like this. I usually try something "different"

Oh mine tends to be as well and we have a DD so I can have a little fun. Working from home has it's perks so the results of a liquid dinner tends to not be an issue. My wife wanted me to "surprise" her. She love's the atmosphere there so figured this is a good option. We shall see

Ya know, not a huge fan of beer cheese for some reason. Seems too bland. Maybe I haven't tried the right beer cheese?

I frequent there quite often and think the food has gotten better than it was when it first opened.

They have a pretty great brunch too.

Sub D has great subs. No question. Maybe the best chicken finger sub around right now. I've never had their pizza.

You never get sweet sauce by accident. It is true that Pizza Oven is always, all the time, serving sweet sauce, but you have to know that when you order. what are you new? love it or hate it, Pizza Oven has the sweetest sauce around. personally think it's incredible.

Wagners also has great beef on weck

Everything on Shamus menu is done well. Most restaurants (pubs) in Ireland don't serve shepard's pie for Christ sake.

really thought you were going to say walk into Gonzo's on a Saturday night and walk out with a black eye. That's a better description than the nonsense you learned from your co-worker and cited above.

I went to school with Jerry's (Gonzo) younger brother.
Good kid.

I'm pretty shocked about the bolded part... but It's been about 10 years since the last time I stepped foot in there.

When i was stationed in Cali i brought some things back with me after leave. All the guys loved the websters and loganberry. Also when Pizza Junction was open they had the option to send anywhere in the country, pizza and wings came like "half cooked". But it wasn't the same. I believe you can get Duffs delivered any where in the country now as well.
- CoHo_to_B-Lo

Love the Duffs. So good. I usually stop in Niagara Falls when I’m on he way back from a game or shopping and throwing my old shoes in the parking lot.

So, not being from buffalo, what’s the deal with Lockport? I never quite follow the conversations when you guys talk about south towns or Clarence etc. mind explaining someone?
