i think pullout was +6 a couple of games ago?

pretty tired of the endless goblin/pullout hate. last 3 years we were screaming for young skill guys of any calibre. now our standards are suddenly so high... i guess EP and BB change the landscape that much.

hard to pinpoint anything by itself. just a lot of little things contributing.

can't be too upset if standards are justifiably increased due to higher calibre talent within the team

possibly more of a comment on how bad the roster has been the last few years than anything else

plus it's like every 3rd post. at least its not sbisa anymore.

But I would rather see any of Stecher, Hutton, MDZ on the PP over Pouliot and I'd like to see someone else on the top unit spot in place of Goldobin in the Boeser spot, maybe Virtanen(with the instructions to be trigger happy and not get cute with passes).

Ottawa was a gong show so who knows wtf was going on in that locker room, especially crazy female doges like Hoffman's. But yeah, if there's any issues in SJ then yeah that raises a red flag.

if you take the same caliber/importance to the team guys off other teams , the way i see it is we have done well , played better then everyone thought/wanted and now things level out in the season .
the progress in EG and Hutton has been a nice surprise and it shows that structure and team chemistry has as much to do with the team as your numbers.
despite the flood of numerical data , there are so many unidentifiable ways the pairing choices and Human connection can effect the team dynamic
