No doubt but was worth trying it. So far he is an enigma in how to play the right way & his interviews tell me so. Still was a decent trade. Goldy time is ticking off while we draft & develop. If he doesn’t sense this urgency he won’t be here long.

Nylander will be going nowhere if I’m correct in assuming the Leafs ask. I could be wrong but Dubas hasn’t shown me anything that he is control of the situation. Hindsight says Nylander was better off to be moved in the offseason. In season looks to be the offers won’t be great is my guess.
That said we are better off to stay the course of draft & develop as well as acquire picks if we begin tanking. Xmas will be a key point in time for JB. Injuries once again are hurting our options.
