They finnally have the defense we expected.
We just expected better better goaltending - MortChicken
It is not just the d, it is the overall team d... inconsistent back checking, not covering d positions when thye pinch, so many odd man rushes...
The D has been mediocre at best, but the forwards are not always helping.
Goalies playing too deep in their net most of the time to compensate is not helping either.
Like I said last night, this team thinks it can win 5-4, 6-5. 7-6 and they are playing D / taking chances like they are thinking that way.

Well alot of the pinches are bad ones.
But yeah the D could use a little support, more back pressure to close the gap for sure |

Not saying the goaltending has been good (or even adequate), just saying the whole team has been playing poop on the defensive side.
Alzner, Schlemko, and Benn in more than a 5/6 sheltered role is not the answer.
I have no issue with Mete and Juulsen being out there and making mistakes, that is going to happen. I'd rather they (frank) up and learn now than still have those issues down the road. |

I agree when Weber is back we let the kids play and live with mistakes.

We finally have what appears to be a #1 center. First one since Jean Beliveau. I'm not trading him. - hscesq
I think both Turgeon and Damphousse where #1 ? |

Like I always say, any team whatever the sport can have a bad game, we will see what this team is made of at CGY...Good team do not play like asses twice in a row. Maybe they still loose , but with a much better effort at least |

No. But Domi is who we were talking about. That's why I asked.
If KK is the kid, then I agree with you completely, even down to the number he wears. |

I have never seen Bobby Smith play, so of course I have an opinion on the topic. |

Why does this team's management keep saying how great the real David Schlemko is? |

Because they don't want to admit they don't have a top LHD on the team to play with Weber? |
