Well, he was the #1 pick in the draft. He was extremely talented. I would say a Joe Thornton type. Beat out Gretzky for OHL scoring title (99 was only 17 years old, but still).

Thornton is a pretty good comparable, I was thinking Spezza... either way, not a fighter at all, more of a playmaker, he played a lot with the great Mats Naslund |
