That doesn't matter...he saw his chance to put in his 2 cents and take out a nickel and he took it...he looks so cool now

I would not be happy to see Zuc traded within the division, however after our trade last year with the Devils, I could seriously see it happening.

Sprong and an unprotected 1st would seem to be acceptable return, but I would not be surprised to see get Gorton get a better deal somewhere else. In any case, I am glad that Hagelin won't be coming back because he no longer fits in on our roster anymore.

In Gorton we trust...

Corey Pronman regraded his 2015 draft grades, here is the one for the Rangers:

NEW YORK RANGERS
Grade: D
2017 grade: D
2015 grade: B

The Rangers had seven picks in this draft. Two of their third-round picks in Robin Kovacs and Sergey Zborovskiy are in Europe after failed AHL attempts. Their best skater of that draft, Aleksi Saarela, is currently doing fine with Carolina’s farm team but he’s just a decent prospect. Goalie Adam Huska may be the sole NHL return for the Rangers. I like Huska but banking on him to turn around a draft class isn’t something I’m betting on before we see him in the AHL.

the Rangers shouldn't be in the business of signing a 31 year old to an extension right now no matter how beloved he is and should trade him to the team that offers the most in return no matter who it is
- jimbro83

I want Zucc to be on this team until I am forced to read his obituary

I'm talking about guy who felt it necessary to post that Jan's blog was moot and totally disregarded the comments made to address the actual trade that happened.

My apologies.
I read it like you were saying Jan was posting a click-bait article because the potential trade was no longer possible. Sorry about that!

With Quinn just having come from the NCAA, I'm curious to see if Gorton gets a few more prospects rather than picks if Quinn is high on a guy.

Conversely, Quinn has seen many players up close and might veto a guy who they would otherwise take.

Im not speculating (what a (frank)ing lie, of course I am) but he could just be in town to see a neurologist. He has suffered from some bad Post-Concussion Syndrome, I've heard
