Yeah, I can't imagine it happening. Hopefully he is just getting healthy and enjoying his family. |

it's interesting, unless the Rangers are being nice, he isn't their property anymore so why would they book the room for that - jimbro83
Sather and co take care of former players. I think Rick would also be like a Graves type player who stays with the organization in retirement and is involved with the fans. He loved it here and while did most of his memorable stuff in CBJ, he was a pretty good Ranger |

Nash flashed talent and could take over games, but that guy could not finish for Richard. An enigma of sorts in the PO.
Rangers thought Gabby could be the guy but was a one trick pony. Nash just could not score when it matters. |

With Quinn just having come from the NCAA, I'm curious to see if Gorton gets a few more prospects rather than picks if Quinn is high on a guy.
Conversely, Quinn has seen many players up close and might veto a guy who they would otherwise take. - WineryDog
Honestly I think that is why they traded up for K'Andre Miller. I am sure that Quinn recruited him for Boston and was very familiar with his high school career. Lets hope that his knowledge is being used by the scouting department. |

Lol for some reason I would put money in Stepan not having any roles in the NYR brass. His final convo with JG must have been as awkward as he explained. ( A 6 second phone call ) |

I don't think soo.... However I think he would want NCAA player's and I do think he has a say on near future roster moves. Hence why I don't think Hayes will get traded, however Kreider might be the Boston alumni who's on the out. I'm just going by all the quotes and recent trade rumors tho... |

I would not be happy to see Zuc traded within the division, however after our trade last year with the Devils, I could seriously see it happening.
Sprong and an unprotected 1st would seem to be acceptable return, but I would not be surprised to see get Gorton get a better deal somewhere else. In any case, I am glad that Hagelin won't be coming back because he no longer fits in on our roster anymore.
In Gorton we trust... - TommyGTrain
After watching Grabner the past couple of season's... Ya dam# right Hags doesn't fit anymore.

This is a typical Rutherford deal. Low risk/high reward. Hagelin is a decent player, but he cant put the puck in the net or even contribute when your linemates are Kessel & Malkin.
I would never trade Sprong & a first for a pending UFA. If Rutherford wants to do that, trade those assets for a younger piece that you have control over for a number of years. - SuperHenderson13
Hags last productive year was when he had Hayes as a center and JT/MSL as a wingers. I honestly hated watching him try to cash in on Hayes passing plays, he should have scored at least 18-20 even strength goals. He was always good for a decent passing play once in a blue moon.
