Buyout Pietrangelo, Parayko for Norris after 15 games. Good job.

You do take a lot of crap for the things you've said on here. I'm going to counter with something you got right. Max Domi has looked great in Montreal.

He's a friend of a friend. He's motivated to play in front of real hockey fans for once. Would be great to see him play for the Leafs one day, especially on a line with Kadri.

why do you say that? I mean that door has closed anyways, but he's looking good in Montreal. In fact all 3 of Bergevin's moves have turned out to be solid. Shockingly

Honestly I would take Pulock, Eberle and Dobson for Nylander.
- celinedionpha9

I’m sure you would. These are some pretty hysterical proposals here. Can’t say he’s not worth 8 million and demand the world in a trade in the same sentence. I like Nylander he’s a good player who could be better imo but if you think you’re getting this or even more you’ll be disappointed with the return if he gets traded imo.

Keith for Gardiner and Bracco
Only 5.538m for 5 years

Is this the point where we start trading younger players/prospects for other teams veterans? I didn't think we were that dumb yet, but who knows with Dubas

Seriously though, we all remember back when the gong show started with trades for guys like Nolan, Housley, Francis, Leech...

Stay the course Dubas. If we have to trade someone (like Nylander) get back other young players and picks/prospects to replenish the cupboards. That is the only way to ensure long term success. I mean, just look at us. Talking about cap numbers already and losing players and we have won nothing! The key is to keep bringing guys through the system... not trading for vets. You can sign a few as UFAs, but for gods sake don't trade away guys like Bracco for players in the twilight of their career!

Yeah, man. He's been (frank)ing terrible. Defensively, he's still the same useless guy he's always been. But offensively he's really dropped off.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got more points as the season goes on, though.

How many Sharks games have people watched? i have seen maybe 45 seconds of highlights, but I never watch full sharks games.

if there is anything i can glean from Dubas short time as Leafs GM is that he is the type of GM who will trade young assets for old vets and not be patient at all.

Its hard to say...

The Tavares signing you have to do. Any GM would. When a player like that is available as a UFA you do it. But all these stupid trade proposals for vets... please no for several reasons... first, does anyone think we are winning a cup this year or next year? I don't see us getting past Tampa or Washington simply because we are at a younger stage of development. Our stars still need a few years to fill out and get there 'man strength' to be able to raise their games in the playoffs. Second, the only way to maintain long term success is through development in the system. If we don't stay the course we will end up like LA.

Does Jumbo Joe still skate at 5 km/hr? Does he still have the ridiculous goat/Mennonite beard?

Please someone tell us!

Joe worked out in the off season and is up to 6 km per hour, and the beard has been shaven.
