Yeah that price range is the most common for top 4 Defenseman right now. Not many in the league get more than that, except for the few who have signed new contracts recently.

apparently Nylander is training in florida, Matheson is being paid the exact number the leafs want to pay Nylander. that may be a good trade.

comparing last seasons fancy stats Pesce comes out looking a lot better.

Looking at this season so far its the other way around.

My conclusion is. Keep Nylander and sign him

I dont like the last year of Marleau's contract TBH. He was added to help guide the young guys and help them grow. We dont need Keith for that IMO.
