I really don’t think Willie gets traded. He’s got to know that no one else is going to pay him $8M plus give Dubas the pieces he needs. If he’s going to take less why not play on Matthews wing? Or play a few years with him on a bridge and cash in.

I think that Matthews, Marner, Kapanen & maybe Ozhiganov are the only ones on that list that as of today would be able to ask for significant raises from what they are earning. I don't feel like it is going to be that monumental of a task.

Also agree on Marleau...everyone keeps talking about his cap hit when he's going to retire at year end or next/he's a UFA and his cap hit is gone. Cap issues are not a worry nor will they be.
