Id dont really call the Drive In area lockport really.... - hubie
Agree. I also don't consider people like Angler, "Lockport folk" as he is old time LP(by the way he speaks). But the new breed there of drug addicts and trash bags have ruined that area for most of the WNY community. I would honestly walk through the Falls or down Broadway rather than through the city of LP. |

This is an article about them. I have a dissenting opinion that I want to express.
I could offer a treatise on living on the west side instead, if you'd prefer - jcragcrumple
Honestly, yes. I would prefer this at this point. |

"The average point production for a fourth liner in the NHL is somewhere around 18-20 points over a 82 game season. Some will have more goals than others, but they typically end up around that mark. Some higher-end fourth liners excel beyond that, but then you could argue that they really should be a third-liner instead of toiling away on the fourth line, like a Brian Boyle."

Larsson on pace for 13
Averaging 14:35 - 3rd line minutes
https://www.hockey-refere.../players/l/larssjo02.html - jcragcrumple
More talking about your claim that all 4th lines don’t get scored on & “tilt the ice”
which is what our 4th line has been doing
Also...
5-7pts less is not a big deal to me whatsoever
And 1 or 2 hot games can change that projection quite a bit
We are only 20% through the season |

How far back are we talking? Cause "back in the day" the Westside was run by the Italians. But yes, the west side is much nicer now than 10 years ago. |

It's 35% under what a "good" 4th liner is expected to get. It's time to raise expectations |

I agree, seems like in the last 10 years all the decent people moved out and the rift raf moved in . Like the falls trash just moved over |

My husbands parents both grew up on the west side (both come from VERY Italian families). I hear stories about how that area was back when they were growing up all the time.
It's nice to see it making a bit of a come back, but there's still a LOT of work to do. |

Im friends with a few Tomasulas, my buddys grandfather ran a lot of the poker games back then. I love listening to their stories of how it used to be. I wish i lived in that era when the Italians had control. |

The interesting thing that I learned was that when his Grandparents were about our age, the Italians were heavily discriminated against and his grandfather had trouble finding a job but the Irish didn't. Even though he was Italian, he had red hair, so he went by the name of Patrick (real name was Pasquale) and had no trouble because people just assumed he was Irish.

Larsson on pace for 13
What if he gets a point next game, making it 3/13 or on pace for 19? Is he a valuable enough 4 liner then? That's why going game by game is just dumb, especially for guys who if they score a point will wildly fluctuate their ppg, meaning there isn't a bunch of statistical data points yet. What if he has a 2 point game soon, then is he a way above average 4th liner? He is excelling at the part of his job that is required most by the team. Points will come, they do for all NHL players, even the John Scott's.
