A period much like the first, but a little more Stl dominant. Crow definitely the hero as he came up big several times. Couple post shots. Great for Seabs to get the goal after Kane did a great job to battle to keep the puck in and make the perfect pass, same for Toews. That 2nd line, if they stay in the o zone, they are sneaky good with setting up and rebounding shots. I want someone else with 19 and 88. I like Schmaltz, but I want him with different players. And Vladdy lost a chicklet, haha. - I Am The Breadman
Don't think 1 goal is gonna win it. Gotta pot one more and hopefully Allen obliges. ...... Love to see the 3rd or 4th line get it, they've been great on the cycle.

I don't think so either, but 2 goals doesn't guarantee anything either for the hawks ... |

Justin if the do decide to trade smaltz what teams would make the most sense and what return do u think the hawks get in return? - Scott1977
Allow me to offer a very realistic answer. The team is not strong enough on defense or forwards. No matter all the prospects, a one for one trade most likely a forward coming back. That is what they should do , no doubt. But don't not rule out a dman. We don't know if Bowman had tried to go after certain style type players. But to improve one area he would be blind to ignore grit and skill on a top six forward . |

Doc and Eddie ... I love Wednesday night rivalry. - I Am The Breadman
I like Eddie a lot when he's apart from Foley. Eddie is a top notch color analyst. It's just when Pat and Eddie broadcast together we always get the yuck it up shtick which is tedious and more than a little stale.

Very steady defensively, couple good pokes and blocks. Quick and jumps in plays offensively, he did early. Good with Manning. |

Steady. There haven't been many pizzas served up tonight, so the whole d-corps is playing better tonight.

Then Keith forced a pass and Crow saves the day on a 2v1 counter. The overpassing on this team is ridiculous - EnzoD
And they all have to stop the puck and hold before making a play, God I wish they'd move it faster. As much as I hate the Leafs those (frank)ers whip that puck around. |

Pat can be funny, but a little bit of him goes a long way. I really like Doc. He brings a different and more respectable side out of Eddie. |

Manning isn’t good at hockey, but you gotta love that he’s always sticking his nose in there and comes to defend his teammates. |

Schmaltz maybe one day will become a NHL player, but for now i can't stand him |

Maybe smaltz for a simmonds type player not saying simmonds specifically but that type of power forward. Or a d man in his mid twentys or younger with top 4 potential i am guessing.

Hawks on pp, Kunitz pissing off Edmundson (Edmenton.) Come on boys, you did it the first time. |
|
|
|
I like the boys being a bit more physical, while their stick checking Kunitz backs off a little and gives a nice little hip check |
|
|
|
So they just refused to shoot the puck on that power play, just can't score if you don't shoot |
|
|
|
Fans booed the pp, and rightfully so. Wtf was that???? Constant cycle or back and forth passing. Shoot!!!! |

They just can't get it through their thick skull, simple puck to net with traffic is your best bet to score |

Really liking the physical play by the forwards near the boards. They seem to be focused on taking the body of the puck carrier.
On the PP: Maybe he was gassed a bit from being out there the whole time, but Kane was given quite a bit of free ice from the left side and just inched in and passed it. |

(frank)ing 2 on 1 and don't get a shot. Lmao |

Johnson just killed a beautiful 2-1 chance after a great Martinsen hit. |
