They just can't get it through their thick skull, simple puck to net with traffic is your best bet to score - BetweenTheDots
That's where they found success last game. I don't get it. |

Or shoot for the pads and get rebounds. They all want top corner. Idiots. |

The bad habits are coming back, up 1-0 and the forwards are not making sure the puck is exiting the defensive zone, it's gonna burn us

Maybe Don Sweeney will lose his marbles and trade Jake Debrusk for Schmaltz |

a game between two non-playoff contenders. Hell, the hawks get the wretched Kings next. |

Gotta start somewhere, at least they seem to be giving up less odd man breaks each game, which is progress |

I like how Nate Schmidt gets Maxwell's Silver Hammer dropped on his head for a millionth of a gram of ped that's barely traceable, and asshat Wilson gets a slap on the wrist reduced. - I Am The Breadman
Bang, bang, Maxwell’s silver hammer came down on his head....

I like Eddie a lot when he's apart from Foley. Eddie is a top notch color analyst. It's just when Pat and Eddie broadcast together we always get the yuck it up shtick which is tedious and more than a little stale. - EbonyRaptor
Sounds like a “professional” broadcasting crew tonight. Very enjoyable. I always enjoy listening to Doc call a game. And, yes, Eddie contributes insightfully when away from foley.

So long losing streak....now they just need to win the next 9 or so and things are back on track. |

Nice play by Kampf to pin the puck on the boards |

I hope that's a trend, but St.Louis is not a good team and the game was a toss-up overall. It's the NHL, the Hawks will win games here and there, but I still see no depth scoring at all on this team and it was up to Crow to pitch the SO. But YES the defense was better tonight, but will a better team expose it? We will see. The Kings are trash, the Hawks win there, then maybe they can get rolling against better teams with some momentum. |

Fans booed the pp, and rightfully so. Wtf was that???? Constant cycle or back and forth passing. Shoot!!!! - I Am The Breadman
I wish the Hawks would work the puck down low, on the PP, below the goalline. This perimeter passing is maddening

You gotta love the way these players just pick their busted chuckles off the ice like it really was a piece of gum that accidentally fell out of their mouth, skatebit over to the trainer with a few words like “Hold on to this for me” and then get right back into the fray like nothing happened.
Tarasenko looked good as the goalie there in the last minute! |

Cool opening on the Vegas game following the hawks on nbcsn. Honoring a Pearl Harbor survivor and had two airmen tapes down to center ice to deliver the ceremonial puck. |
