That's the thing - Hutton was the man. They looked lost for most of the game and Hutton kept them in it. Then in the 3rd they started to come together. Even 1 point from tonight is a win but 2? I seriously did not think that would happen after the 1st and 2nd tonight!

I think it's in the name. Primary assists...for shots. I suppose more thought could be given into location, danger, quality etc. But even at it's basic form it's a decent indicator stat.

Pretty much what I was asking regarding if there's more into it like shot quality. If a guy has a primary assist on a wrist shot into 2 defenders that has zero chance of going in and is blocked or goes out of play, who cares?
