Thanks.
Transition Year...producing wins better than I anticipated, I don't t hink it is sustainable how thet are doing it though.
Relying on a couple players to score, and Hutton playing out of his mind.

They have several guys way under-producing for their contract values...it is the longer term contract with Berglund that is most concerning, although his CAP hit goes down in 2020 season. Okposo is at least puting up respectable numbers, of course would like more for his contract though.
Other under-producing players are 1 or 2 seasons then done. IMO, getting out from Scandella and Bogo would be a terrific feat for Botts this season.
The rest I can live with for 1 more season.

Berglund’s Cap hit doesn’t change throughout the length of his contract
No one’s does
My biggest problem with bringing in him & Sobatka, is that we are already willing (or want even) to part ways with them
They aren’t terrible,
but just 2 more guys on the roster where we need to either improve on,
or get that production for much less $$$

I agree that it’s a transition year
Nice to see us playing well now
But there’s still gonna be ups & downs
So we’ll see how it all goes from here

Nice to be able to have fun watching games again

no, of course not. you'll just assume we all said that so you can get your licks in because the trade didn't go the way you thought it would.

Blah, blah, blah

Bottom line...
i said Thompson wasn’t a good prospect
Ppl called me out for it
The specific language that was used is far from the point

U wanna defend Thompson still?
Go ahead
But so far... i was right
That’s undeniable

Yup on Berglund, was looking at Salary and thinking Cap.

Your point about him and Berglund applies to many on the team as well.
In my summary post previously, of the forwards only Skinner, Okposso and Sheary have acceptable Goal totals so far.
Everyone else needs to start potting some, and quickly.

Skinner is saving their bacon, along with Hutton's play in goal.
It isnt sustainable IMO
