Girgensons has one more career fight than Rodrigues...
Just saying - jcragcrumple
Erod 12 career goals going into this season
Girgs 44 career goals going into this season
Now 45 nhl goals
*37 even strength
I thought goals only mattered with 22 and 28? |

This is truly weaksauce
ER-95 games played- .4 points per game
ZG-365 games played - .29 points per game
Back to your original point though, there are undoubtedly arguments for ZG, but dude has 1 fight in 5 NHL seasons. He's no more likely to throw fists than Erod.
If anyone is throwing, it's gonna be Sobotka, Risto, McCabe or Bogo.
Larsson has 2 NHL fights |

Pretty sure erod wouldnt be punching anyone if he were in the line up.
Punching people and liking players like tom wilson around here, doesn't go over welll.
Many believe hockey is skill and scoring only.
Example:
Like reinhart should be making more then tom wilsom - Boss34
Reinhart back on top line, 13pts in 18 games. Gotta tell ya, it feels good you've moved on to E-Rod now...especially since between him, Girgs and Larry, he's the best by a country mile. |

I would pay good money to see Tage T and Tyler M fight it out. I bet it would be a hysterically entertaining, slap fight...

Points per game?
Girgs is always put in a defensive role.
Girgs is way more likely to check, play physical and fight then erod. That's just not his game.
Erod's game this year is:
skating fast and shooting the puck directly into the center of the goalies crest.
22 and 28 play important roles.

Girgs and larsson have punched people a combined 3 times over a combined 11 seasons.
FWIW, I don't put much stock in fighting, but these two are no more pugilists than Erod |

Sam's been playing good. Definitely scoring points.
I really love the emotion after scoring the goal vs. Vancouver.
Play with some heart. That's what I want to see. Show that you care.
He will not be on that line for long.
Eichel likes to set up his wingers. Sam also likes to pass.
Okposo up next

Who would you rather fight?
Seriously
Erod or girgs?
Larsson or erod?
I'm just calling out erod, because you constantly bash 22 and 28 when they are playing well.
Especially when you keep talking about them not scoring.

I really do like Erod, and his underlying numbers are solid af.
But Housley doesn’t care. He hasn’t scored a goal. So while I disagree with him out, I’m not the least bit shocked |

housley has made some questionable moves during this season
at least he is trending in the right direction, expect for e rod and dahlin |

Erod shows less of a desire.
22 and 28 actually cheap shot players on occasion
I like erod, love the college free agent story.

Yeah he does. I believe only he, Larsson and Nelson don't have a goal. It very well could be the message Housley is sending. I still think the Sabres are a better team with him in the lineup
Looks like Housley is going with a heavy lineup to clog the Jets' speed through the neutral zone, rather than trying to match speed for speed. We'll see if he's right |

16 out of last 20 points.
Phil is doing fine.
Erod has not scored. What's phil supposed to do?
Thompson clearly needs to play. Jbotts must really like him.
Dahiln will be fresh and ready for the playoffs.
Hard to criticize at this point.

If this is the case, I disagree with Botterill here.
I hated when Murray did this. He seemed to give all his acquisitions all the chances, like having Hudson Fasching start the year in Buffalo when 3 guys in Rochester were better |

How can Thompson learn the nhl game from watching?
Jbotts might be making the call?
I think it's a matter of matching size vs. A big team |

He didn't actually put the puck in the net but he might as well have with the pass he made a game or two ago. Let me know when Thompson is making that play, or any play really. |

I’d rather see Bailey or Smith in that role and have Thompson playing in the AHL.
He hasn’t figured it out yet. |
