For putting the S-E-P line back together?
Eichel and pommer just have a bond.

It's ramped up a bit recently, I believe he played his most before in the Tampa or Winny game???
Either way, he's slow rolling him. I would not. - RhinoFan
I don't overthink it. His time will keep going up as they give him tougher dzone minutes.
We're 20 games in and I don't think I could be any happier with him.

Your ?? are vague at best, are you referring to his lack of time on ice or his lack of ability to handle situations he has been asked to handle?

I didn’t know what you meant. I thought you were saying the numbers people didn’t like Dahlin or something |

Totally understandable, but I read more than I respond so its to be expected.
I feel that the orginization has identified Rasmus Dahlin as a "Unique Player" and they are correct. I believe they are follwing a regiment that is wholistic in its evaluation of him as a man and a professional athlete so as to assist him in reaching his full potential . I'm personally impressed as It is obvious the "Orginization Is more Important than Any Individual Player."
Dahlin Eichel
Skinner Okposo
Casey Pomminville,
My current top rated players per toi

I didn't say anything about Pominville. One day you say he's good, next he sucks. Just pointing out your flip flopping tendencies concerning 23. The hate is strong. - RhinoFan
I tried to point out a few good plays, to understand why you love him?
You mentioned something about pommer "just tapping a few in"
Like he was scoring easy goals.
Sam is terrible, he is going to slump even more.
He can't score with eichel and skinner

how so? - Sabresfan-365
Does it make him look bad or others look good? When in every draft teams miss, multiple times, on good players it's going to happen. It's just the side effect of drafting 18 year old kids and trying to project what they're going to be as full grown men. There are going to be the Yak type misses, and the Benn type hits. Even Pominville, most of the NHL had 3 cracks at him and passed him up. He doesn't make Stephen Weiss look bad as much as he looks good. |

But Weiss does look bad for not being able to live up to that top 5 pick
Just like Yakupov looks bad for not being able to live up to being a #1 overall pick.
It's not an either or. Pominville can look good while weiss looks bad. Pastrnak can look good while Reinhart is "underwhelming"
By your logic because the draft is a crapshoot nobody should have expectations according to draft status. He was the top forward selected in his draft and he has not performed like that. It's not impossible to imagine fans being ever so slightly annoyed by that. |

I was close to being among them. - sbroads24
There were certainly some worrying things, but I think the fact that they started to get some confidence helped more than any coaching could. A good coach doesn't micromanage and lets his players play, within the system, but still lets them stretch it. That's why Bylsma couldn't hold a room for more than 2 years. |

Within reason, I really don't. Obviously a top 5 guy has higher expectations than a 5th round guy, but in general, unless it's a huge miss like Yak that had massive expectations, it's all kind of "meh" to me. C'est la vie. |

I am not a Girgensons fan (obviously), but I wouldn't hold his draft status against him. The only useful parameters for valuing players (imo) are: production, expected production and salary.
At his salary, Reinhart is doing fine. Pominville is being paid more than Reinhart and is far outperforming Reinhart. That's fine.
Getting worked up over where players were taken is a useless exercise |

I have to imagine bolded changes based on draft status.
My expected production for 2nd overall is not the same as the guy being taken 200th
When you tank to draft top 5, you expect that guy to be a cornerstone for your franchise or at the very least, a core player. Reinhart for the most part hasn't really been that. At times hes shown it and at times hes disappeared, hence a lot of peoples frustrations.
But the guy taken 200th? Most guys in that draft slot never make the NHL so any production at all is a win. Reinhart's current value is fine cause his production versus salary is still good. But this was more so about expectations and where your drafted plays a part in that. |

Erod - great prospect. Undrafted free agent. Good all around guy.
Pommer- living legend - 2nd round pick. Awesome family guy.
Girgs- mid 1st round pick. Still.young and playing on a winning team. Career - 366 nhl games played
23 - lost an entire season on purpose, to draft a top nhl talent to build a franchise around.
2 goals, whimsy, can't hit, can't pk, cant score with eichel and skinner. Loser dueshe bag off the ice to fans.
See why people might be upset? |
