Good game? I see TSN says “bad penalty by MDZ costs Canucks the game”. Petey gets back in the win column. |

Any game where they are in it till the end, EP scores and Bachman doesn't play is a win in my books. |

He went 100 percent in the faceoffs circle and didn't have a single goal scored against him while he was on the ice. He's proving to be an elite 100 foot center that knows how to not lose when on the ice. .
To bad the rest of the team is preoccupied trying to play the 200 foot game. |

It was decent and great to see Pettersson literally blow one by Carey Price. Bad penalty by MDZ yes but typically the refs could have let that go at that point in the game. No intent to injure or malicious or anything like that. Markstrom has zero ability to close out leads. To me, the difference between a true no 1 and a Markstrom. Price made key-key saves after the Pettersson goal to keep it a one goal game to get the Habs back in it. Marky doesn't have that ability.
But as long as Petey is still in the Calder race that's all that really matters lol. |

Marky $4m or whatever, Price $400m for the next 7000 years. Right now, I would certainly rather have Price but... |

Many would rather have Price I'm sure but we don't want anymore Luongo Albatross contracts here lol...Demko will be here soon enough if his head doesn't explode first.
Demko/Dipietro should be a good tandem moving forward in the years to come. |

You have a lot of faith in a kid that's yet to prove himself, what if Demko turns into an American version of Markstrom?
Not saying I want Price, just commenting on Demko, he's got a ways to go. |

I think people are going to be surprised with Demko. He will be a lot like Markstom when he develops.
I remember Judd Bracket asking Benning at the draft should we take a goalie in the second round and Benning said no.
If/When Demko gets promoted you should expect 4 to 5 a night against. |

Banking on Demko is silly. He will probably be a bust. Just basic odds. That said, whoever the idiot was that said we should go after Price...well they should be shot out of a cannon with Goldobin |
