The Colts are all the sudden very freaking good - sbroads24
O line no longer a sieve and they figured out the D. They always Had a potent offense they figured the rest of it out. They were never as bad as their record showed |

We could use a solid defensive center who is good on the dot and can pitch in 55-65 points.
It would also be cool if he was Catholic, missing a tooth and played the guitar. - Der Kaiser
Maybe someone who is a huge fan of Mumford and sons.
Maybe we could package Thompson with some old guys and a pick for said player. I just hope we get a guy that isn’t a locker room cancer |

As long as said player will take responsibility when they lose. |

clueless as always
botts is hitting the phone, so I have heard
looking at a center/winger for top 9 and a d man
casey might get moved to the wing if botts gets the right center
could be an interesting few weeks as I heard he is looking to make a move before the december freeze - homiedclown
Good info, thanks. I have no idea who he might have interest in. Maybe a pending UFA?

I see a couple of needs:
#1 RW for Jack
#2 D, a lock down guy, right side preferred
Guys I would make available
It is probably easier to list the guys I would NOT make available
- Forwards: Jack, Skinner, Casey, would prefer to keep Sam but could be talked into for right return
- Defense: Dahlin, Risto if possible, and try to hold onto McCabe
- Prospects: UPL, Samuelsson, Borgen, Olofsson, Pilut, Pekar, Asplund, Davidsson

Im not sure Reinhart, Guhle, 1sts gets you both RW1 and #2 RHD.

Would you consider flipping Rhino + Guhle for a solid #2 RHD To pair with Dahlin?
My thought here would then be to flip Risto for that #1 RW.
Not sure it all works out. |

i absolutely would, I just dont think either trade gets you that anymore.
Back when everyone liked risto and still thought he was a top pair RHD, names like Drouin and Hall were being shot down without a second thought.
So if you're looking for that kind of player, it's unlikely that a reinhart+guhle package is enough for a team to move someone like that.
They're talking about moving William Nylander for a guy who could be a #2-3 RHD. That's probably the asking price you'd have to match in any other deals. |

Im not sure Id even pursue. Early days so far, but the defensive numbers aren't there the way they used to be. Plus, he's no longer a buy low candidate, not with schmidt getting just shy of 6 mil. He'll be 29 to start his next deal so his best days are likely behind him. Not sure if it's a risk worth taking.

I see jbotts making some midrange trade moves

Doubt we spend on ufas' unless we're contenders
Starting to look that way |
