I havent listened to the WGR interview yet, but peeps said Skinner sounds like he loves it here. I could see Botts giving Pommer the option to go to a contender if we end up not making the playoffs. I remember hearing something about them doing that with Gionta, but he decided to stay here. I could also see Pommer decline.

If the Sabres are still in good position come TDL time I wouldn't mind them taking a run at Bellemare for a late pick as a 4C or 13th forward, he's a definite step up from Larsson. He's on a career high pace ~24 points and he plays less than 13 minutes a night, also might have something to do with his zone starts being career high O-Zone at 54%, but he's been primarily a defensive guy his whole career.

If she hired the right coaches under her she could hardly do worse than some of these coaches currently in a job.

That number feels high to me as of right now, too. But it’s early and I believe his scoring pace will slow down.

In the end I don’t doubt skinner will find someone to give him a Draisaitl deal. It’s hard to load up that much in two players, but in the end I would go 8 x 8.5.
