3rd fight of Larsson's 6 year career. Let's give Reinhart 6 years and we'll see. He might get a fight or two in there.

Very nice game by Larsson, though. One of his best as a Sabre. He's truly embracing his role, and he finally showed some offensive flourish

I doubt it highly. Everyone knows Samson is a knockout artist.

He'd one punch Lucic, that's all I am saying.

"Larsson isn't any more likely to fight then reainhart"

Remember that gem

poop, sorry, accidental flag.

Reinhart did stick his nose in and rip off someone's helmet tonight too.

Anyone else notice how much better Risto has been now that's it's not all on his shoulders? He's jumping up into the play much more now and isn't glued to the goalie's hip like he has been for the last 4 years.

Yes. His passing still fails but yes.

It’s time to start to explore a move for a middle pairing D man or top 9 forward.

Nothing groundbreaking but something to solidify the lineup

Ideas?

It's borderline remarkable what GMJB has been able to turn this team into this past offseason.

I think the big difference is the ice is no longer slanting in our direction and sometimes goes the other way. Look at last night- the ice tilted in the first period and we were world beaters and when it didn't we were average.

This is great, but don’t prematurely ejaculate. We’re one injury or losing streak from falling back to earth. Even though we won 7 in a row their are several teams just a few points back of us. I’ll wait until 40 games before I’m over the moon.

It’s still way to early, I’m just staying cautiously optimistic so I’m not sent crashing down to earth at hyper speed. Ps sorry to be a bummer.

Tomorrow’s game against the Habs is huge for this team. Win and you are 6 points up on Montreal. Lose and they are only two back. With Boston playing a rejuvenated Pens team and Toronto in Columbus getting a win tomorrow would be huge for the Sabres if they can get some help.

No one specific that I can think of. With how many teams are average it doesn’t seem like a lot of teams would be trading guys yet

Maybe St. Louis, LA?

I think Housley and Eichel deserve a ton of credit along with JB.

Eichel is on a mission. That empty netter last night doesn’t happen the last three years. He’s made so much improvement as a two way player
