It's funny. I honestly think he was the worst regular player in the NHL last season. He turned me around this year, but a big part is the giant defensive void the top 9 creates. I thought Berlund or Sobotka would fill it. It's working right now, but I don't think it's ideal long term.

Most of these guys are just transitional players. I'm not too attached to any of them.

Surprised that Tarasenko's name was floated out there (Friedman).

Chayka needs the coyotes to have some kinda success this year to keep his job. I guess in his mind, he's selling high on strome.

It's not a bad gamble tbh. Strome's skating has always been a question mark.

his shot rates suggest he should be putting up more points than he actually is. Change in scenery/line mates may help with that.
