The point is that the goal this year was to push for/make the playoffs. That’s what we would probably need to do at this point. However, I think expectations need to be adjusted. If we finish in 8th then something will have clearly gone awry. Though injuries and such can always take their toll.

2 years ago the flyers won 13 in a row and finished 11th in the east. Win streaks are hella fun, but you shouldn't really change expectations (either direction) based on a 10 game sample.

How they respond after it ends will ultimately tell you where this team is going.
