Yup, glad to see them following through with interviewing multiple candidates rather than just giving the job to Fletcher. You want to get this one right.

Poop in the street is more of a NY thing than a Philadelphia thing.
Now, having a dude eat horse poop in the street, no one can touch Philly. |

I really think this will be interesting, but I kind of expect hextall to be humble and classy about it. I can't see him going off the rails and ripping the organization although I'm sure he'd like to. |

Zito was a great lefty pitcher. He's gonna be a great hockey gm. |

No he wont. He wants another job. Hockey is a tight circle. No one goes out and blasts there previous boss cause your eventually going to have another.

Zito would be great....I’d love a guy like Pronger just for the entertainment
A guy like Mark Hunter, though....if guys are worrried about drafting he may be one of the best guys there, bar none. His job in TO really expedited the process. Kids came out of nowhere. Fletcher seems like we’re are just settling. |

Would really be stupid on his part if he did rip them. Stuff like that will not help you get another GM job. My guess is it will be something like:
"What it really came down to was just some basic philosophical differences between Paul and myself on how to go forward with managing the Flyers. I want to thank Paul and the organization for giving the opportunity to manage the Philadelphia Flyers and I want to especially thank my staff for all the hard work they've done on my behalf. I'm sorry it had to end this way, but I wish the Flyers nothing but success."
Then he'll give a bunch of vague, vanilla answers to any questions from the media. At least that's how it will go down if he plays it the smart way. |

Maybe he'll take the Detroit adviser spot that Chris Chelios vacated a few months ago. |

I know Pronger has mentioned moving up into the front office business but I wonder how he would field a request to coach the Flyers D-men. |

Why am I not on this list of of potential GMs?
- I played NHL be a GM mode since 2007
- I also coached my teams while managing them
-I made good trades and always got the player I wanted
- I drafted well
- Above all else, I won the Cup EVERY YEAR!
